Snowflake Bracelet
Patterned sea glass bracelet with Aquamarine and Rose Quartz
When I was a kid we used to catch snowflakes on the backs of our mittens and watch them endlessly. I remember being fascinated by the tiny wonders of nature. And the most amazing thing: every snowflake has a different pattern. Clear patterned sea glass often reminds me of snowflakes. For this unique bracelet I used my most precious shards. It belongs to my collection "Storyline" - each piece is made of a special moment.
The genuine sea shards stem from the Eastern Mediterranean in Israel. A raw Aquamarine in ice blue, caught in a silver cage, is the heart of the piece, a lovely light pink rose quartz adds another colorful touch.
Sea glass - the gem from the ocean - takes dozens and even hundreds of years, to acquire its characteristic texture and round shape. Tumbled by the waves, the glass loses its shiny surface and slowly gets the frosted look that makes it so unique. Sea glass is considered rare all over the world.
