Blue Sea Marble Ring
Blue sea marble ring set in silver with gold elements
This absolutely unique sea glass ring - that is actually the half of a marble - symbolizes a fun day at the beach on a hot summer day for me. The setting of the marble is open in the back so the light can shine through and show it in all its beauty. I wrapped this unique piece in fine silver and paired it with two cute balls that I created from reclaimed 14 carat yellow gold. This ring is a true one of a kind. It belongs to my collection "After the Storm".
Sea glass - the gem from the ocean - takes dozens and even hundreds of years, to acquire its characteristic texture and round shape. Tumbled by the waves, the glass loses its shiny surface and slowly gets the frosted look that makes it so unique. Sea glass is considered rare all over the world.
