Sea glass bracelet with silver and gold elements
There is this little house on a hill in a Italy. I love to sit there in front of the fireplace and roast chestnuts. This bracelet reminds me of these magical moments when the flames crackle and warm me. I chose incredibly unique pieces of sea glass for it in smashing orange and yellow to resemble the flames. The bracelet belongs to my collection "Storyline". Each piece is made with a special moment in mind.
The beads are made from different materials: sterling silver, solid 9 carat yellow and red gold, and sea glass. The shards all stem from the Eastern Mediterranean in Israel. A unique piece is a large orange citrine gemstone in a cage that moves around happily on the wrist.
Sea glass - the gem from the ocean - takes dozens and even hundreds of years, to acquire its characteristic texture and round shape. Tumbled by the waves, the glass loses its shiny surface and slowly gets the frosted look that makes it so unique. Sea glass is considered rare all over the world.
