Deep Sea Ring
Electric blue sea glass ring with lapis lazuli set in silver
This unique sea glass ring symbolizes the deep sea on a hot summer day when the sun beams illuminate the water. Just like on this ring when the light shines through the electric blue shard. I set it in fine silver and paired it with a lovely dark blue Lapis lazuli. The sea glass stems from the coast of the Eastern Mediterranean in Israel. This ring belongs to my collection "After the Storm".
Sea glass - the gem from the ocean - takes dozens and even hundreds of years, to acquire its characteristic texture and round shape. Tumbled by the waves, the glass loses its shiny surface and slowly gets the frosted look that makes it so unique. Sea glass is considered rare all over the world.
