Flora Lovers Bracelet
Bracelet with sea glass, silver elements and a raw emerald
This piece of jewelry is a homage to one of the things that I enjoy most: trees, plants, flowers... Basically everything that comes in green. It is the "Flora Lovers" bracelet. Dangling on your wrist it will remind you of the beauty of the flora around us.
The beads are made of some of the most unique pieces of sea glass and pottery that I ever found: an old ceramic shard with a lovely floral motif, a dark milk glass and a patterned green beauty among others. Central piece is a huge raw emerald in light green held tightly in a cage from sterling silver. All the beads are wrapped in fine silver. They sea glass and pottery pieces stem from the Eastern Mediterranean in Israel. The bracelet belongs to my collection "Storyline" - each piece is made of a special moment.
Sea glass - the gem from the ocean - takes dozens and even hundreds of years, to acquire its characteristic texture and round shape. Tumbled by the waves, the glass loses its shiny surface and slowly gets the frosted look that makes it so unique. Sea glass is considered rare all over the world.
