Spring Day Necklace
Pendant necklace with elements in silver and gold
There is (almost) nothing better than a spring day. When the sun is warming my face again and the first flowers show up on the fields and in the gardens, I am happy. This is what inspired me to create this pendant necklace. The different elements dangle on a sterling silver circle with a drop of yellow gold. They move about happily on your neck wherever you go. The necklace belongs to my collection "Storyline". Each piece is made with a special moment in mind.
The beads are made of sterling silver with gold elements. I used a precious shard of yellow sea glass set in 9 carat gold. A gorgeous orange citrine is the center of the spring flower. Four pieces of amber join in on the fun.
Sea glass - the gem from the ocean - takes dozens and even hundreds of years, to acquire its characteristic texture and round shape. Tumbled by the waves, the glass loses its shiny surface and slowly gets the frosted look that makes it so unique. Sea glass is considered rare all over the world.
