Sunshine Necklace
Pendant necklace with elements in silver and gold
This necklace shines like the sun. A perfect yellow shard of sea glass resembles the warming rays, pieces of amber the golden glow. Two sterling balls resemble the star itself. The different elements dangle on a sterling silver circle with a drop of yellow gold. They move about happily on your neck wherever you go. The necklace belongs to my collection "Storyline". Each piece is made with a special moment in mind.
The beads are made of sterling silver with gold elements. I used a precious shard of yellow sea glass set in 9 carat gold. Four pieces of amber join in on the fun.
Sea glass - the gem from the ocean - takes dozens and even hundreds of years, to acquire its characteristic texture and round shape. Tumbled by the waves, the glass loses its shiny surface and slowly gets the frosted look that makes it so unique. Sea glass is considered rare all over the world.
