Turquoise sea glass dangle earrings set in silver
 
These earrings shine in the lovely turquoise shades of the ocean. Inspired by the always changing view of the ocean. They dangle on your ears in with every move you make - just like the waves of the sea. The large shards are milk glass in a stunning light blue-green color, the smaller ones in a smashing turquoise. Together with the raw apatite they are an electric match. I set the different shards in fine silver and added a little sparkling touch with two lovely apatite gemstones. All the sea glass stems from the shores of the Eastern Mediterranean in Israel. 
The earrings belong to my collection "After the Storm". 
Sea glass - the gem from the ocean - takes dozens and even hundreds of years, to acquire its characteristic texture and round shape. Tumbled by the waves, the glass loses its shiny surface and slowly gets the frosted look that makes it so unique. Sea glass is considered rare all over the world.
