Caught in a Net Ring

White sea glass statement ring with gemstones in silver

This sea glass ring is a stunner and a homage to the beauty of the sea. Initially I caught the unique shard with my hands and later in a "net" that I designed from sterling silver. The white glass is especially thick and unique. On top of it sits a tube setting with two lovely gemstones. One is a sparkly blue kyanite gemstone, the other a smoky quartz. The represent the different colors of the ocean. The sea glass stems from the coast of the Eastern Mediterranean in Israel. The ring shank is adjustable. This ring belongs to my collection "Salty Gems".

Sea glass - the gem from the ocean - takes dozens and even hundreds of years, to acquire its characteristic texture and round shape. Tumbled by the waves, the glass loses its shiny surface and slowly gets the frosted look that makes it so unique. Sea glass is considered rare all over the world.

  • Unaltered shard of genuine sea glass in white/clear

The ring can be made in any ring size. The size and shape of the genuine sea glass might vary a bit. Pictures of the shards can be sent BEFORE designing the ring without commitment to purchase.
